    Question

I bought a father's day gift for my dad on Ebay. It was an old Bell and Howell Super 8 projector to replace his old one that had given up the ghost. After some cleaning and re-wiring of dessicated insulation, it is appears to run just perfect. However the spindle on the feed reel is a smaller diameter than the holes in his reels. Is there an adapter anyone can point me to? If possible please send an email to [email protected] if you have one or know where I can get one. Dad has footage from every child's birthday through adulthood on super 8

    Exclamation

Beware--a smaller spindle is the best way to detect a Reg8 projector. Double check to make sure before you put film in it.

See if your projector has a Reg8/Super8 switch in it, then try
